The event took place at FGC Center in Redmond on June 6th, 2009. We had over 100 women of all ages who came to receive valuable information, buy beauty and health products, enjoy great food and meet new friends.

Our special guest Laura Lockard from the office of the Governor Christine Gregoire, expressed governor’s affection and support for our community. We are very thankful to her for making time for our event.
The event was organized by Eastern European Counseling Center a non-profit organization in Kirkland with the goal to empower and educate women from our community.

We had speakers from different professions including medical, legal, financial and individuals that represent different governmental and non-profit organizations. They generously shared valuable information with our guests.

The vendor tables were full with different beauty, health and household products. Our guest had a great time enjoying products and buying items to take home with them. We had a couple of tables with educational information from the Census Bureau & Puget Sound Energy.
Delicious food was provided by Abricos Catering and coffee was donated by Startbucks.

In addition to the serious portion of the event, we also had an entertainment portion. We had folk music by “Pava”, gypsy music by “Blue Lotus Dance” & Anna Vasilevskaya and bally dance by students from “Nallini Dance”.
The event took place at FGC Center and we thank Vladimir Maluta for donating the space to us.
We also want to thank all the sponsors:
Comcast, Puget Sound Enegery, Census 2010, Olympus Spa, Bellevue Crossroads Florist, HD Video Productions & Valeria Zhmak photograpy.
