Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop is helping people!

The Eastern European Counseling Center is sponsored by the Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop!

Selling exclusively donated clothing, jewelry, and household goods, the ECA is a King Country gem where anyone can find their hidden treasures.

The ECA is always looking to take any donations and welcomes any volunteers willing to donate their time to run the thrift shop. These volunteers are always looking for ways to make the shop more viable and innovative. The ECA has recently been made virtually accessible, selling items on eBay (1) and Craigslist (2).

The ECA has given over $1.6 million in cash and over $1 million in clothing and necessity donations to Eastside charities. EECC is proud and grateful to be one of these charities. Just in the year 2015 alone, ECA funds have housed 16 families for one week, provided 150 bed nights in shelters, made over 210 visits to food banks with 12,000 lbs. of fresh vegetables, 2500 meals, and 3000 lbs. of other food. ECA donations have also provided six local college students with $2000 scholarships, paid for all vet care for two horses trained in helping at-risk youth, given 2000 bus tickets to homeless adults and 1200 bus tickets to homeless youth, and clothed over 72 kids with back to school outfits. The ECA continues to fund tutoring sessions, counseling, legal services, safety precautions, and holiday activities for those in need.
